Our Vocational School is Completed and Now Opened, Serving Students!
The Bwindi Eco Vocational School officially opened its doors in January 2024 for students graduating from P7. It will be a two-year program for up to 60 students (by year 2025) concentrating on tailoring for the local market and agriculture techniques to grow food stuffs. Furnishings, textbooks, and other supplies and equipment needed as well.


Vocational School Finishes First Successful Semester
The first semester of our new vocational school was a success, with 28 students in two courses – Ag for boys and Tailoring for ladies. The school has a separate director, allowing him to maintain a steady focus on the operations.
Application for Enrollment
The Bwindi Eco Vocational School began accepting enrollment applications in Fall 2023, with classes officially starting in January 2024. To be eligible, applicants must have completed 7 years of Primary School.
As of 2025, the school has enrolled a total of 60 students:
- Year one (2024): 30 students
- Year two (2025): 30 additional students
- Who are included: orphans, pregnant teenage mothers, and other children from the general Bwindi area.
